About / Signal & distortion

The signal is clean.
The distortion is on purpose.

Echo Glitch publishes implementation playbooks and research on building with machines. The signal is the human part — a clear method, honest copy, a system that says what it means. The distortion is what machines add: speed, scale, and the occasional beautiful accident. We keep both, deliberately.

Every playbook started as an internal document we used on real work. It gets rewritten after every project that uses it, while the gap between the document and reality is still fresh. If we would not hand it to a new hire and trust them to run it unsupervised, it is not done — and it is not published.

Material 01 · Monochrome ink

Discipline. Everything on this site is ink on paper; colour has to be earned, and it is spent in exactly six places.

Material 02 · Halftone grain

The signal made visible. Every shadow here is printed dots — a reminder that machines leave a texture, and the texture can be beautiful.

Material 03 · Isometric depth

Depth that is drawn, not blurred. Objects sit on a floor and cast shadows made of dots, because this world has rules.
